Custom Portraits & Figures
Christmas is coming! Are you looking for that meaningful gift? Wanting something for yourself? Good! I am ready to paint it. I stopped accepting custom work a couple years ago and have decided to open up 3 slots for a custom portrait or figurative painting. I look forward to working with you to create a family heirloom for years to come.
a brief overview of How Painting Commissions Work

Reserve your slot (only 3 available) by paying the non-refundable half-down ($400) & signing the artist contract.
BEFORE RESERVING: Please read thoroughly and agree to the following terms:
- Each painting is 11x14
- One person per painting, or $200 extra per extra person (max of 3 per painting)
- Images MUST be provided that you OWN the rights to. (Some things I will not paint in these commissions: Christ, stillborns, nudes, pets, etc.) -
Email multiple images to me at studio@samanthanewton.com to confirm that this is something in my line of work to paint.

I will email you back confirmation or further questions. When we are agreed upon, I will send you the artist contract to sign, confirming that you will pay the remaining 50% ($400 or more if you added additional persons) upon completion, prior to it's shipping.
The deadline for this step to be completed is Nov. 1. -
I get to work on your painting!

When your painting is completed, I reach out to you for you to pay the balance + shipping.

After paid in full, I will ship your painting.
If my deadlines are met, I expect to mail out paintings around Dec. 11th.

to clarify, these commissions are:

unframed

of persons only, no pets, still lives, or landscapes

each work includes the portrait or figure of one person. for each additional person you want included in the painting, it is an additional $200 per person (max of 3)

minimum 50% non-refundable deposit required.

the remaining balance + tax + shipping will be required upon completion, prior to shipping.
